Today!

PE was horrendous, we ran 8 rounds, starting from the outer lane.

I think I've never ran for so many km in my life :( hahah because usually those sch annual cross country I will walkwalk.

Speaking of which, there wasn't a cross country event last year.... right?

What happened to the RV tradition!

Haha following which, the release of the A level results didn't give me as much motivation to study as compared to last year. But rather, it reminded me to seriously consider what career and degree I want.

Hehe this marks my 500th post on imagurl.bs! *CLAPSCLAPS*
Haha I'm not sure whether that's many posts or too few :D after all, this blog has been opened for about 6 years already!
I decided to blog everyday to improve my writing skills!
Most people say they 'have trouble putting their thoughts into words', but I dont even have the thoughts to begin with, gahhhhhh ><
Yeah so I'm in a way motivating myself to reflect about my life, since the saying goes 一日三省!

There's a few worrying things right now, like Class CIP and SSEF!
We got a rejected proposal for CIP :/ it's something we did last year, sighs.
And SSEF, kind of panicking, since there isn't much time to do the poster and presentatn.
Remember how many weeks it took for us to perfect our OP scripts?
And somemore now we're supposed to talk about something abstract, science-y and b*coughs*ring
I'm not saying that science and projects isn't interesting, but really, when it comes to explaining and discussing about it.... major headache.

And Zhiyin V, it really depends on my grades.

Today went to a UK universities exhibition/talk at this super posh hotel!
Gahhh I was super late, waiting for my mum to finish cooking lunch for me.
Luckily Regina's equally late YAY
But I made Wanxi miss her Biomed talk! D: I think that would have been more interesting and relevant to me also, compared to the Econs talk X:
Was distracted by Boyfriend and Sistar's press conference at the SAME LEVEL in the hotel.
Haha instead of attending the exhibition, Zoenin, Ys and I were like waiting outside the ballroom hoping to catch a glimpse for abt 20 min, along with about only 15 fangirls?
We even went to the toilet in between. Haha I really like the toilet it's so much nicer and posher than Changi Airport's.

Afterwards I decided to go home :( my sincere apologies to everyone!
I'm really mean to make everyone wait and leave so early somemore.

My mum discourages me from studying overseas and I guess I will follow her advice, since I don't think I can get used to Western culture, or other cultures. Like the food, the accent.

Haha I had no idea that today is Friendship Day before this year ^^
I haven't blogged for AGES! Haha, which isn't surprising since I rarely have inspiration to blog.
Plus, my tagboard was fulllllll of spammers. It totally deterred me from writing anything.

Just had an unlucky Friday and Sunday.
I had to collect my corrected YV cert on Sunday (my name was spelled wrong!) and 15 minutes on my way there, they said the venue was cancelled T_T

It's been another week!
Haha surprisingly I quite enjoyed it, even though there was this failed assembly and so many (sweaty) CNY rehearsals.
But I got to eat fried food wahaha and talk to friends :D

CNY rehearsals can be really time-wasting because we have to wait and wait and wait.
So, we put our waiting time to good use, and visited the Archives Room, which was opened today! :D
(Hahah it was opened because SH/MS's junior requested for it ^^)
Lol the teacher there gave us a guided tour!
They said since we were a small group (me and my 3 juniors) so there would be a guided tour.
After that, MrChng ( oh, I miss him! Math has never been fun since Sec 4 D: ) brought this huge group of students in too ^^
But sadly we had to leave after about 20 min for rehearsal D:

I must say, I learnt alot about RV that I've never known ^^
Haha better to know it in Yr 6 than never know at all right.
And so! Do you know why the junior boys' uniform has pockets on their jacket?
It's because RV students used to be generally poor and rode bikes to school. So the pocket was for them to keep things conveniently. Quite cool right :)

To conclude, the Archive Room is much more interesting than some Art or Science Museum :D

After reading this article and its many comments, I feel guilty for always complaining abt our school's facilities.

Well, we do have have the extremely comfortable auditorium (WHY NO MORE LECTURES THERE ): and now, aircon in tutorial rooms.
Our cca room is also big and suitable to play badminton in.
On rainy days our school floods and everything is in a disgusting mess, but compared to the floods Thailand has been facing in the past few months, it's really nothing much :/
Even the plastic field isn't disgusting on rainy days. I remember how I hated running on my pri sch field which was super muddy and I even puked on it once X:
As for the GREY-ness.... they'll probably paint it someday I guess~ though maybe they'll get students to do it.

So yep! I shall try not to complain about our school campus anymore :)

Haha, wanted to blog about my looongest week ever at school!
I felt like the WHOLE January passed by but sadly, it's only 8th January, not even 10 days into 2012.

And I almost forgot to post, instead I wasted my weekend away by shopping with my mum (:
I realise how I always shop for a reason, like I want to get a new bag / shoes / shorts. Isn't this style of shopping very guy-ish? Haha I'm so different from my mum who can just dive into a shop even when she's rushing for time LOL.

Anyway, I'm sad this weekend because of the new SJ couples that will be going on WGM.
Haha, I dont even know who will they be X:
But to be politically correct I shall pretend to be more upset about the (screwed-up) tests on the Friday that passed by, though.
Lol, I did a Physics test without a calculator! Haha, in the end I was just one mark away from a certain classmate and two marks away from another classmate, both of whom are extremely good at Physics :D the power of MCQ!

Aww, pretty fireworks!
Haha had my (first LOL) countdown at Woodlands Waterfront!
Lol actually we missed the 5-4-3-2-1, and just saw fireworks across in Msia! :D
Ok there were some fireworks in the park too and we were all surprised :)
Then there were LOADS of migrant workers O: they kept walking around and doing super loud whistles. Haha they were the ones that built up the new year atmosphere but seriously the whistles too loud for the ear.

Reflections! (The picture's kind of freaky ><)

I can't believe one week of Attachment at Renci has gone by!

I think from Day 1 to Day 5 there was a drastic difference :)

I remember how we were so unsure what to do, standing awkwardly there. Following which, on Wednesday, half our group went on an exchange and went to Sundac. Then we were afraid of debriefs, because of the harsh words we faced.

But I think yesterday and today was meaningful and memorable and FUN :)

Haha I can't find words to describe the concrete experience... and I already reflected on my experience in Reflections!

However I still face a major language barrier when I go back to Renci. I realised that in Singapore, there's not much point in mastering a foreign language. I mean, who can you communicate with? Dialects, Malay, and Tamil are truly essential.

Yay! and my group, Bella Rydafie Junwei Sherman :D hope that we have a good time for the next two weeks.
Attachment, I'm quite nervous for it, nervous that I'll make mistakes, even though the camp tried to prepare us.
Well, hope that I can learn many things from it, regardless of whether I can truly help the beneficiaries.

Oh and today was the last day for Dingdong :(
My first long-term CIP. I feel that I really should have went for more sessions, because I still dont know any aunties and uncles by names.

Yep, afterwards celebrated it with Swensens icecream with Shieuhuei Muisock Xiuhui! Hahaha finally we ate the Legendary Lunch that we've been talking about since before Promos! Honestly, I had imagined myself sipping pork/beef bone soup LOL.

Yay finally finished Secret Garden :D (after the craze has long died :D )
Expected it to be overrated but it's a touching story and I love the humour!

Yesterday, went for DeeeSTA visit.
Lol it was accompanied by this certain Phy teacher ><
Omg she really loves to talk man. Somemore ask me to rate Pw's difficulty on a scale of 1 to 10.
Obviously must rate it higher right.

Then halfway on the bus ride, the YDeeeSP people joined us.
There was this guy (who isn't from our school) who walked into the bus and straightaway got scolded for not greeting thatcertainteacher HAHAH so poor thing!
Aft that Angel came in and put on her Pw-style sweet smile and greeted her politely ^^

There were DMH people there too and there was this girl with a super long skirt.
thatcertainteacher was like, 'hey! you see her skirt ah, your skirts are so short!'
And luckily she just laughed it off. WHEW.

Ok lah then the actual visit had many talks. Poor Angel had listened to the speeches for the 3rd time, and even the jokes were the same hahahah!
Then they did talk abit abt the scholarship, which is mostly for ppl who want to study all kinds of Engineering.
They also showed the labs they work in, which has different software.
The software is similar to the computer games where there's war and battle, which is quite cool.
Haha but I dont play this kind of games so yeah they got kind of dry.

Oh then of course got buffet :) which is a mini one.
The chocolate eclair is SOOOOO NICE and the nuggets too!
Haha then the people who came late to eat only had beehoon cos the eclairs and nuggets all eaten up alrdy.
So emo for them X:

Yup after that collected our phones which they kept, since no cameraphones were allowed.
And headed home :) where she suddenly appeared on the bus which we were taking and we only noticed her when we were alighting O:

Went Queensway today to print IT.

Met up with my group at Cwealth and took a bus there.
I was sitting with Angel and Peiyin, then Bangyan was two seats away from PY, right beside the door, playing his PSP.
Chenxi was all the way at the back.
When we reached Queensway, we alighted.
After the door closed, we saw that Bangyan was STILL in the bus!!!
Omg he was so engrossed in his PSP -.- he's beside the door but didn't notice us alight.
We couldn't contact him at first cos he doesn't check his phone!
In the end I think he ran all the way back from two bus stops away. LOL

Anyway, then we reached Queensway.
Hahah, the printing shops are all under the same company or smth.
Wanted to eat laksa / currychickenrice but one of my groupmates was sick :(
So we decided to go to Vivo to pass by our old campus!
Haha it pretty much looks the same :)
Then when we reached Vivo, we met Mrs Lim! (you know, the bio tcher?)
She recognised us! ^^ but didn't remember most of our names.
Lol she thought that we were in Yr 6 alrdy and she remembers Chenxi as the naughty one.

Went to Botanic Gardens to 'experience nature' today.
HAHA ok actually we were just a bunch of noisy kids busy saboteuring away.
I realised that alot of my friends have baking/jelly-making/tart-making talent!

Today went the neighbourhood link CIP :)
Taught an auntie how to use the computer to save pictures!
Saw her whole collection of photos on a trip to Msia. She just wanted to save photos that had her inside.
So it was fun spotting her in every picture :D
Shall add her on FB later haha omg she's so hip.
I guess computer skills are already becoming survivor skills.
Just like Pw, where each of us stare at individual computer screens for hours, typing and typing.

In the afternoon went to Bridge Outing with a few US trip people ^^
Went to Jiayin's condo with the bluest and prettiest swimming pool ever!
Jy's so funny, she faked as different residents to book the same room twice LOL.
Played Bridge and Pool. I'm looking forward to more Bridge later :D

PeeeW Day

Heh, guess what, we had our first PW meeting yesterday *claps*
As in, meet up outside curriculum hours and do hardcore PW.

So, armed with a laptop each, the five of us met up in the... SCHOOLCANTEEN . ( haha how creative?! )
The internet access was excellent because there isn't anybody around, since school is closed on Sat afternoons :)
It was such a coincidence that all of us wore Red except Angel our group leader LOL
So seeee, our group is quite harmonious now.
Obviously it wasn't the most productive session ever, but we did make some progress.
Halfway through we got hungry, so the kind BY brought this HUGE bag of snacks down from hostel (how convenient!)
Which included Yoguberries!!

My blogpost looks like an advertisementttt

Omg they're really milky and delicious ^^ I generally don't like sweets but I like this.
Haha so in conclusion the sch canteen is a really conducive place for Pw.
You get to eat anytime you want and there's an abundant supply of Wireless signal and plugs to charge your laptop.
Anyway, our school is building this Amazing Machine thingie!! You know, like the one outside the Science Center?

Hahaha ok this is last year's show but whatever ^^
I really like 古装剧 because of the apparel they wear and their manners. Guys actually look better in dresses and long hair okay.
It's one of the best girl-act-guy show because Park Minyoung is so pretty in real life and in the show she's handsome and intelligent, not dumb and blur like Gominam LOL
Kind of reminds me of She's The Man :D that girl really looks like a guy too.
But why do they get the short girls to act. It makes it less convincing that they're guys.
Haha there's three not-bad-looking male leads but I like Song Joongki the most ^^ his smile is really the best.

Okay, I guess I'm just here to cover up my low spirits.
I'm not really so sad about my grades, it's just that my dad's kind of disappointed over the phone.
But my mum's so encouraging! She just tells me to live life happy.
I guess I will do that, the workshop yesterday taught us that EQ is more important too.

There's been about a week of post-exam activities!

Enjoying myself to the max hahah esp at home :)

I know that there won't be a chance like that again in the upcoming year.

Today's morning there was a train fault, so the train came late and it was seriously packed. The most packed I ever saw.

You know how boonlay has alot of men so it's uncomfortable to squeeze there :(

Haha I probably told alot of people this thing but I still wanna post it! At Lakeside, there were people trying to alight so I moved out of the train since I'm beside the door. But I couldn't get back in D:

It's not just that, every morning you see people pushing and clawing their way to get up the train or down the escalator.

They always try to push you but it's quite hard to push me with my 5_kg weight HEH.

And the countless times when you got to the train door first but there's always someone who squeezes in between you and the door.

Doesn't this reflect the true nature of Singaporeans? We want a first-world parliament but we don't act like a first-world electorate.

Nevermind, just ranting, I do appreciate the MRT, I really do.

And kite flying today!

And I also realised how 10 minutes can be long or short, depending on how you see it.
Like, 10 minutes you can watch one sixth of a drama, or do 2 Chem questions. You can write the first page of a CLL essay. Or stare at a Physics question and freak out.

Haha I don't know where I wasted my time, went to JP to eat and helped Yicheng choose her new specs! She bought it so cheap at $190 which is like 100 bucks less than mine T__T and imported from Korea somemore and weighs like 0.000000001kilograms

The shop has alot of cool specs and also pretty vintage dresses :)

Teachers' Day is coming soon!

I remember last year during teachers' day, Kukus went to visit MC LOL!

So the year has flew past, and I seriously can't imagine visiting my this year's project mentor..

Have I ever posted about her? She's from China and she's quite nice, though she speaks soooo softly to us but loud to her friends =.=

Anyway my mum will be receiving presents for Teachers' Day and I get to open them ^^ it's my childhood hobby LOL

Maybe I'll reconsider becoming a teacher in the future ^^

National Day celebrations are over and it's back to school!

Thank you for all the wishes and surprises and presents, and letters too, two letters made me wanna cry!

And had fun singing National Day songs with different friends :D which other country has so many nice national day songs?

Life is back to normal.

I haven't attended any interesting talks, workshops or activities lately.

There was PE assessment today, on handball skills!

Haha it's basically doing passing to see how many balls out of 10 we can pass. Yicheng and I only caught 6 out of 10 balls we passed each other cos halfway the ball went into the handball goal which was nearby and I started laughing X:

We also had to shoot the goal without any goalie but I still shot the ball onto the goalpost aiyo!

That's about it.

Omg today there was gp consultation and was reminded that the end of years are coming soon!

I barely recovered from the trauma of midyears....

Saturday, started out by doing CIP to distribute flyers for the blood donation drive!

Singaporeans are reluctant to donate blood, even more hesitant than donating money.

Especially young people.

I think I'll face up with my fear and donate one day while I'm still healthy.

Then there was PeeeeDoubleU Survey which was slacker than I thought...

My groupmates encouraged me to watch them eat instead of work LOL.

After which it was class bbq where we waited for like one hour for the rest to come to the mrt station -.-

I have no idea how come my group was SO punctual.

But it was still quite fun. Our form teachers came with their wives LOL. And one brought his child. Who turned out to be rather spoiled and threw leaves into PY's plate HAHA.

So we were comparing whose wife chioer.

And played Bridge too ^^ yay, everlasting love for Bridge! :D

But I kind of grew sick of meat, even chicken wings couldn't entice me.. Hopefully there weren't alot of leftovers.

Long time didn't update again!

I'm not really busy, just lazy.. and also, I'm not a very good blogger in terms of depth and entertainment with a truckload of things to talk about so haha updating regularly is kind of pointless.

Today, did lab work for 7 hours ( almost like office hours D: )

It's so tiring! After lunch I couldn't really listen or look at anything properly because digesting made me really sleepy.

And made some mistakes too :(

Then yesterday, it was farewell for our U.S friends who are really fun :)

Also watched HP with Enting :D

Haha still alot of people were at the movie so we're not very lag okay :D

Enting kept asking me how can I watch the movie without reading the book.. which I don't know how I did it too!

Okay I'm seriously going to read it soon...

And dinner afterwards, tried Mos' Clam Chowder soup which is awesome!!

I didn't know that clam chowder soup has REAL CLAMS inside!

An eventful week

Weekends again!

This week was rather eventful.

Besides scoring the worst I ever did for 2 subjects, my specs also broke from PE D:

Right in the middle of the frame!

Had to walk around tutorials and lectures for the whole day feeling like a blind mouse.

I know that next week won't be better, with more papers coming and I have fear of handball already D:

Will have to face everything with a strong heart (and strong specs).

On the bright side, Pw online meeting was very efficient today, because there was group effort ^^

Preparing to interview someone and getting interviewed is very very different!

Decided to revert back to using blogskins because I can't seem to find pretty templates for Blogger :/ they don't let me upload photos with larger file size for background :(

Its July already and midyears are just OVER.

Despite the seriously killer papers ( i've never met with such hard papers in my life D: ) that made me want to cry, i really want to thank my friends for cheering me up! You guys were just being yourselves but it made me feel so much better.

I made the mistake of telling my mum abt my upcoming outings right after complaining about the papers... But I guess I really need to go out less :(

Today my mum took the day off, and for quite a few times, she's talking on the house phone then suddenly her handphone will ring and she will switch over.

It's quite distracting so I will blog :)

I realise now, that my motivation for studying is to score well enough so that I can be who I want to be. Whichever university I want to go, whichever career path I want to take, I need good academics first.

Have just finished the Hard Truths yesterday, haha I love the pictures inside ^^

I also want to live life without regrets like (ex)MMLee.

But it's so hard to make choices ):

It's really hard to study....

Half an hour is my study limit until I need a break.

Sometimes I do prefer the last-few-hours-studying for tests, it's so efficient and motivating!

After reading one of the chapters on Hard Truths I agree on the genes part.

I do see a limit to my own ability, how I cannot write fast or speed read!

Bought a new comp! :D

Finally I have a fast comp yay ^^

Chose usability over aesthetics, though. Next time when I have the money, I'll buy a really pretty computer.

Right now, will make do with customising a nice desktop :)

Went to Sentosa on Sunday for fun, became a tourist and went to play the 4 attractions package, because it was raining :(

The 4D theatres are quite a scam.. spend so much for such a short time.

Class outing today,

Turn up rate is one-third, most of us came after 1 hour the meeting time lol.

Half of us wanted to watch Pirates of the Carribean and the other half wanted to watch Kungfu panda and one wanted to watch X-men.

Haha so we took like one hour to decide the movie and trying to book seats which were really gone very fast, and ended up with Kungfu panda LOL.

I'm neutral to the movie but 10 bucks T_T

Haha and some people didnt bother to hide their disinterestedness, but better than those who didn't bother to come despite living so near.

Ended up with gathering at the food court to solve some v v v chim riddles.

It's a so-so outing I guess.

Looking forward to next week's outings :)

Both are them are so cute in the pic ^^

Went for Kbox on Fri after PW, with Rachel Peiyin Yicheng Huiyu, it's sort of impromptu but we wanted to celebrate PY's bday so went there despite the co$t and it was fun and super high :D

Rachel sings like WangFei and Peiyin is a good rapper; Yicheng's really good at Eason's songs and Huiyu can sing Chinese really well even though she doesn't speak Chinese

By chance we all became MEMBERS so let's go again next time ^^

Anyway, I'm going to finish updating about the trip.

Today I was highlighting the mid-years schedule.

My exam dates are weird: I don't have papers on Mon and Wed. Haha, so do I come to sch on Mon?

But CLL paper is the last ): and there's more papers from CLL cos there isn't enough time given to test us during the mid-years week.

Anyway, there seems to be quite little to study... 4 subjects only! That's as many as what we had in P3 :D

And this holiday, I am a FREE MAN, all my commitments were over since SYF :D

It kind of bothered me that I was too free but eventually enough outings popped out ^^

There's only one more cca left, till the long break, and that's all I have.

Looking forward to reading good books. I quite enjoy Hard Truths :) I didn't know much about politics until the recent GE and this book... actually Singapore is really fragile.

Hello! Back from the trip ^^

The trip is say fun not fun enough, but still great! :D

US is quite beautiful, first thing that attracted us were the olden Western style houses ~

Can't seem to find that picture with the houses... :/

And Princeton is a really beautiful university too!

If I was that capable and had that choice, I would choose Princeton because I like how you can choose your major anytime when you're ready, after studying subjects further and also, the arts culture there is really rich. It would be cool to minor in French or Music or something there. Also, they don't give loans but grants, which means you don't have to return them. But to get a scholarship and to get in is super hard!

And this is my buddy, Krista, whom I shadowed for a day. She's really pretty right!

Food is abundant in US... but it doesn't suit my taste at all. Missed Singapore's food badly.

Shall update more next time ^^ Wanted to end with a group photo but didn't have one in my cam... Shall wait for uploads :)

I didn't cry this time.

The journey wasn't easy, but we managed to play music that touched people's hearts.

Even though everyone said it wasn't our best, but how many times in life do we really perform the best in the actual challenges? There are people who only break records during the Olympics, but these people are like one out of 7634376786

So we did great ^^

Anyway, other schools who did well didn't have a single newcomer! So really admire our newcomers...

Heh, haven't updated for a very very long time.

After all the tests, and the weird stuffs, this weekend is the slackest ever.

Last night, stayed up till around midnight to watch the GE but sadly the results came out so very late! Haha congrats PAP, sounds like foreign talent will get to stay !

Of course, condolences to those who didn't win, esp the ministers in Aljunied.

And then, tomorrow will be syf, our last syf.

We'll be playing our music again, to perform and touch the audience.

It may be full-house because of the holiday, that would be scary.

This feels so different from the previous one.

I think CO is more united, but cellobass is less?

Maybe it's cos we just met 3 months ago, but there were some unhappiness, misunderstandings and conflicting views.

We haven't had any outings or lunches together, not even the traditional lunch\dinner before syf.

Everyone is really busy :(

Or maybe we just don't bother, since we would just split up into groups as usual.

Reality is always harsh.

And wondering what the other members are doing...

Are they listening to our song for a final time? Practising for a final time? Or just studying for their tests?

Yesterday's prep talks were great too, it made me feel like crying but why isn't anybody else crying? I know they feel emotional too but why didn't we cry like the last SYF?

The long-awaited U.S trip will be tomorrow too, despite the SYF and terrorism threats, I can still get to go the trip, which I'm really thankful for!

Has guaranteed so many people souvenirs that I think bargaining cheap will be a very important skill O: haha think I have that skill in China only.

Will really miss my fellow sunny islanders!

Today dance received their results too, and all 3 groups did excellently.

I think, we can be like them, if we want.

But 18 days is a long wait, especially with the tests in between.

SYF is so different from competitions. In sports and stuff, you play and the winner is obvious.

But music isn't like that, it's subjective... so you never know how well you will do till the very end.

So, good luck to all the SYF people in the upcoming weeks ^^

Managed to restrain myself from joining more activities this week, *claps*.

Haha its very hard to resist the fun and experience that you can get from various activities, esp if your friends are joining.

But on Monday and Tuesday, had to miss so many things for various stuff and rush around that my legs hurt even though there wasn't PE.

So I shall be loyal to my current activities.

But feeling so dumb and grouchy today for not understanding math and phy :(

I guess the hardest hardest hardest part of learning Science is learning a new topic and understanding it. You're listening to the lecturer, listening and understand each sentence he says, but somehow, all those sentences just don't link up to make sense.

There are many people who can get it in that one time, am I not listening hard enough or just plain shallow?

And Maths, lost track of what was happening during tutorial which was in the form of a game... again, am I not trying hard enough?

Language, the understanding part would be easier, but to present your answers is the hardest. For both languages must have contentlanguagelogicflowcreativityeverything.

And to come up with something long enough to look presentable.

Today's GP test, I wrote half the length of my friends.

Went to QA 2 questions before realising I don't have enough knowledge on those 2 and changed.

Sighs.

Today, first day of the CIP at BL Neighbourhood centre, to spend time with elderly :)

Hahah it was very fun ^^ did dance with the elderly and taught them to play mahjong and taught friends to play Bridge :D

Shall continue to advocate the love for Bridge! ^^

The elderly are so funny and enthu! Got this auntie who can't stop giggling :D

Haha I really want to be like them when I'm that age too.

And the people who joined the CIP, I realised that I know quite a few of them from various random stuff, like going on trips, cca, 2a/4a/5g and even doing cid.

Hope that next few weeks will be enjoyable too :) will be teaching the elderly English hahah with my poor standards.

Afterwards, went to trade-in graphic calculator, for $95 dollars T_T but well at least it's half the price of buying another. And now mine is black ^^ the more I look at it, the more I like it! Haha my scientific calculator also black.

Then today my parents had a quarrel, a rather big one because my mum is still angry?

Heard about the problem and I realised that when you're an adult, you tend to always think you're correct, and tend to not self reflect at all. The only self reflection is, "I shouldn't have raised my voice," or "I shouldn't have bothered to argue at all" -.- seriously, I don't see how this thing is going to resolve.

I suppose, no matter how old we are, we will make mistakes and we will have to learn with an open heart, just like when we were young.

This week was both terrible and fun.

Terrible is having to take test and sleep late, fun is the experiences :)

Not much experiences though, eg. webcam conference was a failure this week because Skype didn't function properly.

And really feeling guilty:

For missing so much CCA practices, I really wont sign up for anything anymore.

For betraying people's trust, that's really really bad of me :(

For not studying my test properly.

When I look at my scores, I feel satisfied with myself. But when I see others' and hear the teachers' expectations, it's really hard to feel fine. I never had this feeling before, until this year.

Nevertheless, the fun this week would be helping out in the Sci Whiz Challenge, despite certain incidents, because the primary school kids are so cute, got this little boy who crossed his legs on the chair while doing the test, and also the students really know so much! And we realised that what we learnt in the last ten years has been given back to our teachers, we've forgotten them all.

And also, tchoukball during PE, which is a non-violent and fun game, esp with all the girls who are new to the sport (: but the sun is so very very very hot today!

Today my mum asked me if I get dizzy from staying at home and doing homework all day, she got so nauseas (how to spell?) from typing her lesson plans.

I had to admit that I don't spend so much time on homework, because there's so many distractions! And my homework speed is seriously slowww. Everytime I check my diary on Sunday afternoon it's always one strikethrough haha pathetic.

This weekend there are no emails except social updates so I'm generally free :)

What a relief. Still, I got kind of sick editing my PI yesterday... It's worse than doing tutorials, at least tutorials you know whether you're on the right track or not.

Eating alot of chips lately, the feeling of crunching something salty to bits is delightful.

Chips own chocolates already!

And yoghurt, I love Meiji brand yoghurt :) the strawberry yoghurt is PINK :D

Ah, and to add on to Friday's post... I burnt my test tube holder during Chem prac and I think my tcher didnt believe me -.-

Another 2 weeks which feel like 2 months.

Maybe I will do some reflection and self-praise :)

Made so many mistakes this week that I dont know which to start with.

Haha like not switching on the main switch for practical -.-

And, kind of forgetting to take attendance.

And zoning out during lessons. I worry about too many things.

It's hard to concentrate with so many worries.

Holidays are over alrdy, guess what, I really havn't accomplished much.Just finished all the homework due on Monday, that's all HAAAAAAI.Nevertheless, I dont regret signing up for everything! I think this holidays I really learnt alot and may be grew up :)
Passion Run on Sat and Sun which is one of the most fun cip. Haha its just interesting in a way though there are boring and tiring parts but the welfare is very very very good (but maybe only for me) cos I always acting like I'm working very hard LOL. Thanks so muchk to the organisers :D
Class cip on Monday which is a success! :) Now I do like our class a teeny bit more. The cip is an academic camp for P5 and P6s. The primary school kids are much more lively than me when I was a P5/6 and they have learnt more than me when I was in primary school! Kids are really getting smarter and smarter. My station was Paper Chromatography which sounds very boring but it's quite fun okay, we added a story to it and it's Who Kidnapped the Princess :D I shall upload photos of it later.There was a survey after the camp was over and 5 people write this as their favourite station k ^^ hahah it's quite little but better than nothing.

Then Videography Workshop on Tues and Wed. What an experience! Don't know why but I volunteered for to be Director :D Really alot of things to learn, like deciding exactly how each scene should be and of course, SOUNDCHECK, CAMERA ROLLING, READY, ACTION, CUT! (nothing can be done without the commands) It's actually quite a no-brainer :) but the filming can only beduring the 3 hours in the afternoon or until the battery of the camera runs out! So it's like racing against time but luckily, there are very few scenes so we made it in time :D So thank you to the cast and crew ^^ without you I would have been a sad and bad director.So sad that I had to miss the next day's editing, which is really the saikang part? I think everyone really very xinku, I havn't watched the end product yet!

CO camppppp. Not many activities but so many things to learn!Night trail :D horror movie is watch before one but still very very scary! But night trail was fun cos our group was damn big and there were people who aren't afraid of anything in our group :)But mainly, it was about bonding as CO and looking at other people perform and reflect on ourselves- have we really put in enough effort for SYF? No, duh, we haven't.Yes and unhappy moments too, esp among our section, but I guess the seniors are right and we really need work harder.
Afterwards not much events, but a Saturday CO practice and reaching early as a section to practise, that feels really good :) but also sleeppppy. Looking forward to more Saturday practices ^^
Then chiong homework afterwards including Tracker which is a killerrrr but thank you groupmates you are hardworking people ^^ I hope I did enough O:

Today, a long, tiring and eventful day.

It wasn't meant to be eventful, it was just my carelessness that caused it to be so eventful.

In the morning, supposedly Mac breakfast but I forgot my file so yah reached late! So sorry! I know we've been planning this since like before Chem test..

Mr Chua's farewell, so much has been said, I know that the clock can't be turned, so I hope Mr Chua does well in his future endeavours and RV will continue to be strong.

To be honest I did feel like I want to become the principal next time and work for my school, even though I may not love everything about my school.

Lessons, it was rather hard to keep alert, I think I do need more sleep. Even Zoenin says I'm not like my usual self, I asked her a few questions during Maths when I very seldom ask questions. Haha but actually today I was feeling happy that I could ask questions because it shows that I'm not a passive learner, but the questions I asked her were rather stupid.

And somemore I kept answering questions today that people aren't asking me hahah super paiseh!

And Physics Practical. As long as it has something to do with tying strings, as usual, I made some stupid mistakes in setting up the experiment. After recounting them to my friends, they laughed so hard and I was seriously thinking how can I be so no-common-sense.

Afterwards project meeting at NTU, basically just learnt experimental procedures so nothing much, but afterwards I couln't absorb the physics and chem behind the project, only bits and pieces of it.

I guess I will sleep more to ensure that I will always know what I'm doing and talking, luckily there's the holidays! :)

Haha I have no idea why I'm blogging on a weekday..

Maybe cos it's finally the last day of tests! :) Today's CLL was zz hahah we're supposed to memorise every single line from the passage -.- including the author's background and the hanyupinyin of the superduper hard ancient words! So never finish the paper, I think maybe nobody did :D

Yup, celebrated it by eating at KFC for a lun-ner. Hahah I ate like 4 full meals today, feel like a pig.

Okay and spending some free time online now but I'm really online to do GP essay plan.

School holidays are coming, but really, there's quite a lot of things to do... I think I may even have to start holiday homework today or tmr -- look what I'm turning into!

Really scared by seniors, "joining blah and blah with the PW coming, you guys are pushing yourself to dieeeee" but they did say that "after joining all these, you'll look back and say

"hey, I survived and did all these!"

But what does 'survive' mean? Sleep after midnight everyday and lose your "life"?

Anyway, it's really interesting to hear what people have to say about each other...

I've almost forgotten what has happened in the past week, just remembered that there were unhappy moments.

One of the big things was piano exam D:

Music isn't like studies.. no trying of luck. If your skill isn't there, then it isn't there.

Luckily there wasn't any returning of test papers last week, if not may be I would really cry O:

I think I'm becoming more and more like a robot, less like a human.

I remember how I used to be so sensitive, I could cry over anything, like not being able to walk-the-track with Mrs Toot.

And also being paranoid that I would lose my friends.

Now I'm kind of numb to many things, I'm even surprised by my own reactions to stuff.

Isn't it scary?

I want to become more like the old me, and cry at the little things that happen.

Luckily I still havn't forgotten how to smile at the littlest things :)

Speaking of which, it's kind of hard to get the humour in my class...

It's not really _ _ _ humour, it's just that I tend to miss the jokes and don't understand what's so funny? And once or twice I even have to fake smile while the whole class if laughing like mad which is pathetic HAAAAI.

Anyway, I'm really thankful of my friends. Even though it was just a small talk / eating food together / walking together / singing together, but thank you anyway it made me know what true friends are and what fun is :)

Haha and did you know that my class' girls are very open about their huachi/crushes it's quite hilarious :)

Now watching Growing Through Life :D Hehe Raymond Lam again, and Bosco too, snatching the same girl! But the VCD quality is so bad cannot see everybody properly LOL.

Had to stay up to do homework last night because of very poor time management, but surprisingly I was quite attentive in class... maybe I'm always yawning because I sleep too much :)

This week was quite different, with all my commitments squeezed into the 120 hours of the week.

Monday it was Valentine's Day, it feels so damn long ago! There was really alot of sweets and chocolates (which are the branded ones, not the powdery inedible ones! ) so thank you friends! Hope you all had a sweet Valentine's with dontknowwho :D

Impromptu section outing that day too, just go JP sit awhile, it's cool that we can still gather like that, even though nothing will stay the same. To sectionmates that are leaving, hope you do well in your endeavours :)

Tuesday, a video conference which is zzz hahah zzz is an understatement. Haha next time I will try to participate more and listen and watch attentively the veryverybadquality video conference.

Wednesday, Thursday, CCAs. Tiring.

Today, ran 2.4 and my timing improved by 20 seconds hahah even though I obviously have gained weight. But today my PE shirt was kind of big and loose (???) so maybe my stomach has become flatter :D

Planned U.S trip itinerary, there are alot of places of interest :) it shall be something to look forward to despite of this busy and tiring lifestyle.

I was deciding whether to blog today or not because everyday time is so very very precious! I know the real stress hasn't come yet and the homework isn't full load, but it's really hard to keep up with finishing hmwk and making sure I get enough LIFE.

Speaking of which, our class name was almost '5Get A life' hahah which is seriously suitable just kidding :D

My leg's still hurting from Friday's P.E., hope I can recover if we're going to run tmr!

But still went walkwalk with my mum so that I'm not cooped at home all weekend.

Just now go NTUC the queue was very long, so my mum asked me to queue for her while she go take the groceries. When my turn came she wasn't done yet! Lol so have to let the next person go first. Just wondering if anyone would be annoyed if you were standing somewhere behind me in the queue? I think I would :)

Yesterday, as a yearly routine, went to Msia to my father's boss and colleagues' house to 拜年.

My mum couldn't come as she injured her waist and can't walk. It's quite serious.

So went there with my father only.

JB is closer to my house than RV -.- it only takes half an hour.

Anyway, as I was sitting there on the sofa, I could remember myself sitting on the exact same spot last year very vividly. Time really passes so fast, one year has gone by like a passing breeze.

I tried to talk to some people of my age, but they're really shy, both the brother and sister. Can you imagine people shyer than me!

But there isn't much to talk about anyway, because in Msia they don't take O's and A's so there isn't much in common to talk about.

On a side note, in Msia you can get your driving license when you turn 17, which is earlier than in S'pore. I cannot imagine myself driving! Don't think I'll have the courage to do it :)

At night went for dinner at another parents' friends house and there was a movie on tv, Beauty on Duty (美丽命令). The movie is awesome itself :) romance, action and really funny parts. Charlene Choi is one of the leads, and there's this guy that plays a guy she rejected because he's a star and can't spend time with her, so they didn't end up together. I was so sad that they didn't end up together but when I went home to check the movie's cast, I found out that they are a couple in real life! No wonder the guy looks so suspiciously familiar, he's William Chan, her real boyfriend. Haha during the movie I kept thinking that he looked like some Korean star -.-

However, wouldn’t that be a bit shallow? But then again, everyone is shallow in a way. Saying Raymond Lam is a good person would be superficial without knowing him in real life, but growing up watching him on television throughout my life, it is hard not to admire him.

不过我写的华文都是通俗的，保证你看得懂。

昨天，有华乐表演，然后就在华乐室呆了一上午，打了牌，还有画画。

接着就和恩廷去吃胡椒午餐 ^^ 胡椒午餐最棒:D

1点钟才去5G的班级聚会。其实只是看电影，根本没什么交流。看完电影大家都各走各的，不知class bonding 跑到哪儿了？有同学带了相机，但没拍班级照。不过，还是要感谢胡琦主持聚会！她很尽责:)

看的电影是《青峰侠》，对，就是周杰伦主演的那个。周杰伦讲英语的口音很cheena哈哈哈对不起:D 电影本身不错，只是太多子弹了！简直是spam, 他们不论什么事都开枪-.-不过电影很搞笑，不会让人觉得闷。

今天，和父母去了一趟四马路的观音庙，想到那里祈福，但人实在是太多了！去年我们也是年初一去，不过人好像没那么多。我们在外面排队时，下起了雨，所以只好临阵退缩！不过下个星期我们还会再去:)

现在觉得，华文字很concise,如果我用英语表达以上的几段，应该会很长！

Another week and a day has passed!

And it's Chinese New Year alrdy :)

Haha going to 拜年 again. Sometimes it's really boring as there's nothing to do, the only good thing is new clothes :DDDDDDD

The past week, I remember it was quite terrible.

Feeling that I am so behind my class, wondering how I'm going to catch up with everything and everyone.

I guess I'm feeling better alrdy, and more used to being the slowest ones to learn. I'll still try my best for studies, but I've set more goals besides getting good grades in A levels.

It's important to be healthy because health is everything so I'm going to be more conscious of what I eat this CNY. I'm also not going to sleep past 11 whether I've finished my hmwk or not.

Haha so yeah, it's okay to be the least bright in the class, there's nothing wrong with it.

And today! I know it's very mean to say that it's an awesome day for it because many had a bad day... but sorry it's a good day for me!

Little lessons and long long breaks :) so talktalktalktalk.

And there was good food, ice cream and birthday cake!

After school also got talk and went to walk around with Regina and Shieuhuei who were finding suppliers and samples.

Girls, Entre is really hiong!!!

I think it's good that I didnt join, not because of the workload, but because of the nature of the work, it's business and all, which is not my type.

I only know how to be a cheapskate person but not a frugal person.

Chinese songs, they've changed so much!

Now many of them start to sound like Korean songs, with catchy tunes, rap and digital sounds yada yada.

I do like the catchy tunes alot alot, it's great to sing along with, but it's quite sad, cos Chinese songs used to be really beautiful.

Maybe I'm generalising, but last year's Chinese songs were rather disappointing, no wonder everyone has moved on to Kpop.

There are still some really nice Cantonese songs though, thanks to the multi-talented HK actors who can sing and act well!

Haha today there were TVB artistes at Causeway Point, to promote Starhub Cable TV, even though CWP is under construction. 杨思奇and 黎耀祥. Got see them act before but is minor characters but 黎耀祥 is very popular now lol :) Got take picture of them from afar but too bad not Raymond Lam or smth LOL. But if he come I probably wouldnt get to see the stage, it would be so crowded.

This week was rather enjoyable :D

I have no idea why. It's just as hectic, but it passed by so quickly I barely noticed that it was gone.

Maybe used to life alrdy, used to bullettrainspeed lectures and tutorials where I haven't finished my work :)

Up till now, I quite like the subjects I take because now I don't feel sleepy in classes and I really get a satisfaction when I learn something and don't dread hmwk so much.

Today's Physics lecture was rather fun! Hehe the speed is so much better compared to Phy tutorial, where our tcher makes us do additional questions. But my classmates say too slow alrdy LOL.

There was PE today, run on the grass for about 2.5km in total? But we had like half an hour to do it :D

Ah went for CO on Tues and Wed. Tues didn't really practise, it was sec 1 auditions! So nostalgic of last year's trial and the trial when we were in sec 1.

There was secondary sectionals for Year 2 and 3s, so went there and tried to teach awhile, like listen to them and remind them of dynamics and stuff. Maybe it's the least I can do as a senior. There was supposed to be a prep talk aft it but I didn't stay for it. Haha I'm totally not the prep talk type, I don't like to listen or say them... even though they do work sometimes, and make everyone cry like taps.

Yep, so I think maybe I can go back and teach sometimes to help my juniors.

Then there's alot of stuff after school... I feel like I spend more time on them than lessons haha.

I'm closer to many of the girls in my class too, lol even though there aren't that many girls in my class ^^ Oh and I love singing with Zoenin! hahah everywhere also can sing :D Dont worry Kukus will still sing our trademark songs often :)

So that's my week, I'm going to buy a new bag this weekend, finally! There's this big big hole in my bag for sometime alrdy.

Today is RV's birthday, it's a really special year, somehow :)

CIP yesterday, cleaning this house which is O: O: O:

After cleaning it I decided I'm going to help my mum clean my own house and I'm really lucky that my house is constantly clean, thanks to my mum :)

Hahah groupmates from 5R, all of whom are afraid of cockroaches (including the guys!). Can't really say met new friends but everyone's rather friendly (:

And there was this guy from another school who was attached to us because the family whose house we cleaned is a Malay-speaking one. He was damn hardworking and washed a toilet and afterwards we discovered that it's his birthday! Wow.

I was really hungry at lunch but after that, ate the pack of noodles, cup corn and Xiuhui's bday cake :D

Learning symposium, it was damn hard to get the NWSP chop because EVERYONE wants to get into the room which is alrdy overcrowded. So thanks to Shiyi the artist, my chop was 'drawn' onto my piece of paper. Haha Sh got take a pic of it and really, it looks like the real chop! HAHA. Haha okay now I feel a teeny weeny bit guilty, but I promise to find out more about NWSP from my friends to compensate for it.

Haha and really got learn new things from the symposium. There were Sec 2s that did a Chinese presentation and their Chinese is really good can!! Better than mine LOL. I'm going to mug Chinese like crazy just kidding :)

Finished 谈情说案 today aaaaaaah it's so nice :DDDDD

It's like the best mix ever: action, science and romance!

Mixing physics and romance is supposed to be oil and water, but seriously this drama does it so well :)

For this period of time I preferred reality shows to dramas. Because dramas have this really really sad part where the main leads face difficulty and make you want to cry :( then reality shows, they're just really funny and entertaining the whole way, that you'll watch it feeling relaxed.

Then now I like dramas again because the satisfaction you get from it is so much more! And you learn about life's experiences, instead of just laughing at the reality shows.

Anyway, why didn't 谈情说案 like win tvb's best drama award or lead actors' awards? I didn't watch the ones that won but I think dramas with the biggest budget always gets the prize D:

School is making me a no-lifer, no energy or time to come online :(

Life isn't so busy but the MRT ride home always wears me out and makes me feel guilty for reaching home so late.

On the bright side, school life is better than last week, somehow, because there are stuff like the SC Exco Interview Sessions and halfday school today! This really really made life more fun :)

Haha and also because I see stemj and jwsmrt like almost as much as I see my classmates!

Even Physics, with the practical, is more enjoyable.

Today! Chinese :) our school did well, congrats everyone :) For me, I will continue to work hard for it, probably harder because the content is alot heavier now. Today there was Literature lesson also, it's quite interesting cos we watch the dvd of the theatre performance script we studying. Even though the Cheenese accent is quite hard to understand, but there are SUBTITLES (dont you love subtitles!) and our tcher stops it every minute to let us take note of what's happening and stuff so we can all understand ^^

And many lectures today :D = no hmwk!

Today my mum's card was retained by the ATM's machine D:

Wah then must do a new card so a few days later then can collect, so inefficient!

There was these 2 Indian guys whose cards were retained by the machine too... And there wasn't even a sign there to say the machine is spoiled!

Lucky my mum got another bank's account if not we one week no money to use have to beg/steal/borrow/rob.

Omg O levels will be out tmr.. everyone has been talking about it for the past week and I'm just sitting there / reading their blog posts and smiling to myself, thinking it's so far away. Then today the fact suddenly sinks into me that it's TOMORROW! So when people are reading my posts they alrdy know the results. I hope my primary school friends do well :) even tho they wont come RV hahah. And Higher Chinese! I alrdy know what I'm going to get... I'm an intuitive person so I just know it.

Havn't blogged since school started, am I that busy? Yes I am!

I dont know where to start, to complain or to compliment life in jc. I wanted to type life in 5G, but it doesn't feel like life in 5G because I don't feel like I'm often with 5G, esp with CLL lessons and so many lectures.

I will start with saying school is really making my brain malfunction. I keep tuning out others who are talking, and just today I missed what my mum said a few times and did wrong things.

My mum and I waited for each other at wrong places at wrong times today and we wasted half an hour trying to meet each other up to go home. She was so angry with me, when I should be the one angry -.- but I guess it sort of is my fault, just that why is everything my fault?

Another thing is that I do things not even realising I'm doing it, like opening the fridge to get... clothes hangers I think. ARGH!

And I think everything is so hard to catch, like when they say based on year 3 and year 4 work they really really really mean it! Like they expect you alrdy know everything from the last two years... wow.

Haha and I think I need to do my work faster, and try to be less careless... this sounds kind of contradicting O:

And I supposed my class still has a long way to go, it's so separated ): I guess everyone is obsessed with their own work to take note of others. I'm really glad to have the company of Zoenin and Yijun, and the 5G girls in my CLL class are really nice and funny :D

Anyway, I'm the class secretary and it's not a slack job for once, I have to take attendance, which I realised is very hard in a classroom!

Oh oh and there's all this walking around. Haha at first really cant get used to it but after awhile, I started to find bringing my bag everywhere around really really convenient, like example if I got my that one I can just whip out a ___! HAHAH.

So many new experiences.

I may sound geeky, but it's my favourite newspaper!! :D

I used to hate reading newspapers, especially Wednesday's Zaobao's, because I don't understand many of the articles and only read the Student's section for entertainment.

But after I read MyPaper, I like reading newspaper.

First of all, it's in both English and Chinese.

For English news, they collate articles from The New York Times and Reuters, and they actually make politics and geography sound interesting!

Like, stuff about how China's reports might looked like if Wikileaks had exposed them instead of the US (they'll look quite ego :O) and why it's snowing so heavily in US and Europe, cos of global warming ( I still don't understand why though, but the article looks like smth Mr Chan would cut out and share with us )

Haha k it doesn't sound so fascinating here but some of the articles are really good :)

Then Chinese news, mostly Entertainment? And sometimes they'll post really random stuff which is kind of funny.

Oh yah but I still dont read the economy and sports stuff :D

Oh oh oh and best of all, it's FREE!! *moment of auntieness*

So sometimes my mum will help me take before she works so that I can read it. I usually take 3 days to read finish, because of major distractions like my computer along the way ;D I just finished last year's 28 Dec issue LOL.

Hope that I can still read it when sch reopens, when time is precious.

It's frigging ex, 5 in a box costing $11.50 for such a small icecream.

The red bean filling is alotttt but really sweet :)

Anyway, there's 1 last day of holiday left! Tmr I'll be packing my bag, and feeling nervous.

Holidays have passed so fast!

Late post :D Read everyone's New Year posts and they were all inspiring\touching HAHA :)

It's a brand new year! Already :)

Made my resolutions last wk and I alrdy dont remember what are they ;D

Just had my first lunch of the year.. my mum made lots of good food haha.

I know that next year will be hectic with studies and syf, so am bracing myself!

Also hope that I'll meet new friends and stay close to current ones by having outings :D

And I'll try to do my part for Earth, I am starting to recycle all my used papers!

2010 was a great year, where I had lots of fun and learnt new things.

I think it was more people oriented year, cos my friends who made everything possible and awesome. So thankyou so much!!! You guys made me realise who's the ones I can count on, and that I should cherish you all.

Beginning of the year, life revolved around cca. The second half of a year being an SL, there were many new experiences such as organising camp and stuff. I would say that it wasn't a very pleasant experience since I'm not an initiative nor thoughtful person, and all the time I was looking fwd to handover.

Finally there was concert where my friends and family recognised our efforts haha :) but really learnt alot of things from the mistakes I made, and also how to manage time because often have to choose btwn self-prac and cid.

Then there was OBS somewhere in the middle, sorry to say but the images of it in my mind are just a blur, I can only remember me and Meiwen in the sea since she blogged abt it LOL. Too bad our watch didn't stay close X: but it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience since I'm not an outdoors person :D

Yeah and there was CID, which is hard to recall also, I can only remember Kukus complaining and laughing about the other group and our mentor HAHA. Oh, and having to stay back to do every single day and stare at the insect corpses, which made us feel like vomitting. It took up the first half of the year too, and it was the thing that really brightened up my life at that time :D

AYLC, I remember spending alot of time waiting and waiting and waiting. I learnt patience from that :D And met some friends who are really funny and friendly and kept in contact with one of them thru email ^^

STEMJ grew closer this year :D we had outings for everyone's birthday, and 2 sleepovers! :) and kept surprising everyone hahah. Also went to the beach, kiteflying and bonded. So happy that we can stay close ^^ Continue like this k!

JWSMRT, the clique formed this year! Haha even though we are very different people with different preferences, but somehow we always have fun together, like by simply playing monopoly or eating breaks and lunches together.

Second part of the year, it was mugging and slacking for cca. I remember going home early almost everyday cos cca was always cancelled for one reason or another.

Somewhere at the start of the holidays, it was O levels HCL which was ARGH hard! Results will be out soon. There was subject combi during that period too, and all we talked about all day was subject combi LOL.

Then cca began again in the holidays, and there were new sectionmates ^^ haha and they made cca fun again :D

This holidays were the most relaxing cos no hmwk. Many outings and 3 chalets :D I feel that most of my life is concentrated in this teeny 2 month duration :)

Yay that's it then, maybe I'll write another post abt 2010 later :D

6 Diligent Kickass!

Just came back from 6Diligent chalet, sorry I wouldn't say awesome but still a good chalet :)

One cool thing...

The chalet room P-03 was the same room as 2A chalet in 2008!

And, this year's cellobass chalet was the room beside it.

Wow I have such high affinity with P-03 :)

The chalet was organised quite well, there were LOADS of food for BBQ and the food was good :D Though the BBQ costed a BOMB. Haha and since I had cca yesterday, I went there late and skipped the cooking :)

Haha then at first very hard to recognise people! Some changed alot alot, like wear contacts, dye their hair, while some still look and behave EXACTLY the same.

In total, 19 people came, which is half the class :D not bad alrdy, considering how long ago when we were a class.

Played Truth or Dare which was sian in the end though there were some fun moments in the middle, like we made 2 guys kiss! On the ear only LOL. and also played Slapjack, Pig, Murderer which are diff versions from what we normally play but also became sian after awhile.

Then bathed and played separately.

Slept from 3-10 like a pig :) quite a few ppl didnt sleep at all, so we had the bedddddd with aircon ^^

Mrt-ed home this morning with Joyce and Xinyi and gossiped about our thoughts about the chalet and our ex-classmates :D

This is an average chalet cos we didn't really do any fun stuff, wanted to watch movie and play pool but in the end didn't. And for breakfast at first say eat at Macs then change their minds last minute. Then go home that time also split up, some take MRT and some take bus even though we all live in the same area -.-

Oh and everyone became more 'open', in quite a surprising way.

But on the plus side, I did get to know some of my classmates better, regardless of whether they were from my clique or not. And we did play class-bonding games and took a group photo (:

Thankyou Shihui for organising the chalet, so sad that u didn't come! And everyone who came ;D we may not be a perfect class (and probably not my fav class X:), but you all are the ones who made primary school life memorable. Hope that we'll continue to have outings/chalets where more ppl can come ^^

Early Xmas Outing

Today, celebrated Xinyu's birthday and had an early Christmas section outing :D

Haha joined the juniors for cake and after that went Antoinette's house to play.

Her house has LOADS of big size soft toys!

Played Slapjack, Hide and Seek, Charades and Spot the difference (spot 7 differences at one time?? play until want vomit blood)

Haha yup so today got to know juniors alot better ;D

Anyway, saw the 2011 Sec 1 namelist yesterday, there were names like Tasure, Cheney and Yuolmae (sorry for mentioning your names) which are super super hard to pronounce!

An anecdote

Yesterday's sectionals, we went to NTUC after lunch, the Toblerone promotion auntie gave us free mini sample Toblerones :D

When we were thanking her, I accidentally spilled my Milo that I was holding. The Auntie gave me a plastic bag and told us to find another plastic bag to replace the one she gave me. So the others went to find plastic bags from other food sections and I went to throw my Milo.

When they gave the Auntie 2 plastic bags, she gave them a HUGE handful of Toblerones!

Heheh so today after lunch we had nothing to do so we went to NTUC again, and walked around, especially circling around the Toblerone there. But the Auntie didn't see us at all this time! So we were wondering if we should spill more Milo to attract her attention :(

Haha okay this is a lame anecdote :D But you all can go JP NTUC Extra these few days for free Toblerone!! ^^

Anyway, today my mum bought raw aloe vera and cooked it as advised by the supermarket people but it's damn bitter D:

Yesterday's Foochow Association co concert, it was quite nice :D

The CO is quite good, and its more relaxing than other concerts :) their cellobass played Libertango which is an awesome song ^^ quite sad that rvco cellobass probably won't get to play it :(

I remember not knowing every single song in the first few concerts back in Year 1... and now know quite a few :D I'm a true co member alrdy :)

Oh oh and its really fun to find people who resemble people in our everyday lives!

For example the Dizi concerto-ist looked like Mr Eric Ng hahahah :D not to mention spotting the real people from rvco who performed/helped out/in the audience :)

Hehe I will try to talk less in concerts next time X:

Piano Teachers

Last evening was my last piano lesson, 'exchanged' presents with my piano teacher. I'm going to miss her!

And I hope I passed my exam X:

I realised that I don't blog much about my piano teachers, so here's a post dedicated to them :)

I've 3 teachers in total, around the same age I guess? 20+ abittt.

Hehe, my first teacher, Ms Chua, is fair and really really pretty, like celebrity that kind of pretty. She was very nice to me, and quite funny too. I remember she once caught me staring at her arm ( haha I have no idea why I was staring at her arm :D ) and she was like, "Why are you staring at my arm? My arm very fat isit? I can let the fat teacher at the next door studio teach you!" It sounds abit insulting now, but I think she was trying to scare me ;D

She also praised me that I'm her favourite student and gives me many cute stickers and stars (but maybe she does that to every student) but before exams she still scolded me infront of my parents that I dont practise enough and made me practise everyday, and record in my booklet. I think I still didn't practise everyday but I recorded that I did ^^

Oh and she had alot of coloured pens, some really shiny metallic ones and I loved all her pens and went to buy some of them :D Everytime she record my progress in my notebook she'll use a different kind of pen and a different emoticon.

Then there was this girl whose lesson is before mine, she started learning a year later than me and our mums will talk before my lesson starts. My piano teacher would 挑拨离间 and say that girl's mum always secretly ask her how's my progress and try to make her daughter catch up.

So, when that girl wanted to skip from Grade 1 to Grade 3, my tcher made me skip from Grade 2 to Grade 4. Competitive right -.-

Lol, so yah, my first tcher taught me till I was about P5.

She had to quit teaching cos her health wasn't very good, as she led a busy lifestyle teaching students.

My next teacher, Ms Teh, taught me for one year only. She's quite nice too. She kind of looks older than she is X: I thought she was 30 when actually she's still studying in university. She let me play the songs which everybody else played like Fur Elise, but she was on MC quite a number of times. She stopped teaching at the music sch to take care of her mum.

And then, my current one, Ms Tan, who's been teaching me since P6 :D she's chio also, like the put-her-in-any-outfit/hair-and-she-still-looks-good kind LOL. And she's from RVCO!! Yay~

She's the nicest cos she's really patient and when I play wrong notes, she won't mention it cos she knows I know I need to practise more and instead tells me how I can improve on my other parts.

She's really passionate about music, she knows alot about music and piano and the little details in my pieces. She can also play the violin, and she can read (and speak?) Heheh so I guess she's my favourite teacher :) I'll miss her :(

So that's all about my teachers, I think I'm so lucky I got really nice teachers :) I wonder if I'll become a piano teacher myself one day~

A Fear

Right now, one of my greatest fears is not being able to see anymore D:

Went to a specs shop to check my degrees and both increased 100++ degrees.

And the staff says, once the eyes reach a limit the retina may drop out. ARGH!!!

So my mum was damn worried brought me to the polyclinic today and we queued for 3 hours to see the doctor.

Then the doctor said that 150 degrees in 3 years is normal -.- She keep assuring us that for a student it's natural. My mum tried to make the consultation worth it by asking the doctor about my leg hair -.- the doctor was so amused and it's embarrassing.

Haha, but the eye checkup was a relief. But so much for queueing so long!

And the doctor suggests contact lenses, she says can stabilise myopia a bit. It's so scary though O:

Quite hiong and tiring but fun! And really practised alot.

Totally reminds me of the days in Secondary CO, learning for SYF :)

There was section lunch today, and it also reminded me of the section lunches I used to enjoy so much. The only difference is that most of my sectionmates are in my batch, but what stays the same is laughing at and talking about the weirdest stuff. I hope cellobass will continue being fun forever :D

I know I shouldn't compare the past and the present, but I like to do that. I like comparing classes and cliques too.

Yay so it was Enting's Surprise yesterday and I think it was very successful :D

Heh at least she's 50% surprised! And we, baking novices, made a Cocktail Cheesecake that we finished! It's quite sour and ice-creamish so lucky got the crust! Even though in the end have to resort to Zhongjimima to finish :O

Of course, successful also because Enting's family is a good host ^^

Yah and it was a STEMJ sleepover with full attendance :D

Bleh too bad I had to wake up and leave early to go for sectionals, today is all Year 4s! Heh there are really quite alot of Year 4s in our section alrdy :) But quite tired to read scores and everything, I'm going to sleep really early tonight~

New Year's Resolution

Since 2011 is coming very very very soon, even though I don't want it to come, I'll do my resolutions now :)

1. I will make more new friends, esp among my classmates! Hahah I will try to be demure and nice ^^

2. I will treat my old friends better :D I will sing to you all everyday.

3. I will be more diligent and do less last minute studying.

4. I will eat less. Snacks.

5. I will eat slower and chew my food.

6. I will do my work faster.

7. I will practise hard for SYF.

8. I will be more filial.

9. I will talk less and I'll be the 'mysterious quiet girl'.

10. I will be less emotional.

YAY :D

Piano exam today! It's finally over.

Haiyo, I think I did rather badly, it was hard to concentrate and I played alot of wrong notes. Nevermind, it's over now, and I'm not taking lessons anymore yep after learning 8 years. Quite sad hahah but okay can play for leisure ^^

And CCA afterwards, the set piece 扬帆. At first was playing it and the rest had sectionals in the morning. The song sounded so horrible hahah and we thought it sounded worse than the Cicada song. After playing it for awhile I felt like puking it was so hard X: heh seasick ;D

But, combined practice afterwards and after a few bars, it began to sound really nice! Really like a voyage in the sea :D then the part where Yangqins played, it sounded like a shipwreck then got bubbles floating around.

Yeah so the song is very nice and kind of moving! Cello is very very hard but I think it's worth it. The composer is only 21 years old! So pro. When I'm 21 I shall compose this kind of nice song ^^ I hope SYF will be fun :D

Oh and after sch went to eat McDonald's American Bistro (what's that called??) with Shieuhuei Muisock (haha totally unexpected!) just because we suddenly had a craving for it. Even though the meal's 8 bucks O: but the chicken is very tender like nugget meat and the barbeque sauce is nice too so yay worth! :D

Haha I was trying to find an image of Elizabeth Gilbert herself with her memoir but I really really like this poster where Julia Roberts is eating ice-cream in Italy :D I first noticed the book cos of this picture on the book cover too ^^

It's also my favourite part of the book, the EAT part, which is funny and meaningful.

It's in Italy, something interesting is that the newspaper will feature the Pope's conditions just like weather forecast, like: The Pope was tired yesterday, the Pope is very tired today, the Pope predicts he'll be less tired tomorrow.

Hehe then the Pray and Love, aren't so exciting cos alot meditation and thinking. Yay haven't watched the movie yet but I think I'll like it too, movies are always nice :)

Anyway, Bali sounds like an interesting place too, did you know, the Balinese name their children only either Wayan, Made, Nyoman or Ketut which means First, Second, Third, Fourth in order of birth.

Anddddd I've been reading Princess Diaries #9 and starting #10, hehe I remember I first read the series in P6 :) it's still awesome, and much much shorter than Eat Pray Love and Jia. Jia is the book Jiarui was reading that time, it's really nice too :D okay, though there are some parts that make you cringe, but a really good read. I do feel pity for North Koreans, esp now their leaders are agitating South Korea O:

Had the first Energy Conservation project meeting, we're going to make a Deluminator! HAHAH no lah JK :D

Walked around this weekend :D

Yesterday went RV Open House with Meiwen and Shieuhuei :) haha it's my first time at an open house. Most of the performances were enjoyable and CO could have been better O:

And they promote our school until not bad (cos nobody mentioned youknowwho) ^^ the parents' questions were quite funny and everything.

Then today, went to Paragon to try out the piano for my exam, had lunch at Din Tai Fung (which isn't so nice anymore D: ) and walked around, luckily my mum didn't buy anything, I'm starting to get really worried about her shopping obsession.

Watching tv now, the Mnet asian music awards. Don't understand what they say and don't know who the people are LOL. The awards seem dominated by certain bands and solos. And the females are really really really tall :D

There's nothing to do for the past few days and next few days!

Lol so went for Ishi Mura @Jurong Safra lunch buffet!

Its 14.90 (stabs myself) wahh seriously spend alot alot alot $ these 10 days.

Luckily, no more spending for the next few days! Maybe buy Jiani present only lor hehe ^^ And watch HP (or maybe too broke to watch it) O:

Anyway Ishi Mura, nahhhhh here's a koped picture

I realised Ishi Mura is also the name of the Japanese food court located at Safra. Hahah I think the food court more huasuan lol. The buffet restaurant has the usual Jap stuff - Sushi, Okonomiyaki (pizza ^^), Chawan Mushi (steaming hot!), shrimps etc etc and also steamboat. The steamboat stove is so annoying, we changed them for about 5 times, everytime it doesn't light up or else it doesn't boil soup. The Kimchi soup only tastes like Kimchi when you put cabbage inside LOL.

Oh yes the music they play is KOREAN (we're in a Jap restaurant hello!) and somemore is those we never hear before one. Supposed to be a dare for someone to tell them to change the music HAHA.

Haha then the seniors were scaring us with PW and our school's teachers. We played Huga Shaga too and I think the older you get, the lagger you are in the game ;D

10th!

Ate Seoul Garden and stuffed meat ^^ JWSMRT ate like pigs hahah esp J LOL no lah ;D I dont remember so much of what happened!

Followed by Day 1 of Cellobass chalet ;D

Haha at first go is all the juniors. Played bowling, card games, arcade etc etc and spent 50% of the time glued to the tv and making comments at almost every single show/commercial? Now I don't like Cruel Temptation so much anymore LOL. And the room is super dark downstairs, there's this orange light which is kinda spooky. Upstairs is better ^^ there's aircon and more light. And ate Just Acia for dinner (at first the juniors wanted Seoul Garden -.-) - yummm freeflow of drinks and icecreamm it was so much more worth than Seoul Garden :D Jiamin says her class ate it almost everyday/meal.

Then the highlight of the night - Night Cycling! ^^ Took turns overtaking each other and we cycled through the 3 parks hahah until our butts and hands hurt. There's almost nobody on the bicycle paths, and Kahleong and Zoey double-biked and their convo was very funny HAHA. I accidentally bumped into Xinyu (sorry!!!!) near the end. They say night cycling will always have accident happen - Scary! Slept for 3 hours with Jiamin, the rest took over at 7am aft waking us up with CO music -.-

11th!

Went for breakfast then more cycling in the park with Jm, on our way back it began to rain heavily! Wah super suey, we became luotangji but still had to cycle back in the rain to return the bikes in the morning. It was so terrible :( Aft returning the bikes when everyone woke up we played more cards and bowling then CheahJing and Mandy came over :) Played those stupid games like HugaShaga (YAY) and the 4A taptap ;D Then more arcade which Shijia joined us and at 6 plus the rest had to go home left with only 3 ppl T_T Mandy, Kahleong and me.

Popeye's for dinner which was very delicious and hua2suan4.

Wanted to watch the Rise of the Mummy fr midnight movie but we kept getting scared and didn't dare to watch in the end. Mandy taught us those Korean songs' dances which are super super hard but she's very pro she knows so many songs and we choreographed a dance for ourselves too LOL. Then sleep for 8 hours hahah so shiok!

12th!

Checked out, Mandy had a craving for KFC breakfast but EHub's KFC wasn't open so went to White Sands hahah :D

That's about it. Spent so much $$$ at this chalet D: and quite little activities maybe cos too little ppl but I would say it's still fun :) So happy that aft so long of not seeing each other we can still have so much fun :D And I discovered that the Sec 1 and 2 juniors are very funny and nice too esp Minwei and Fidellithy!

Afterwards went to Bugis cos Et had a craving for I Love Taimei again :D yup STEMJ outing! Walked around Bugis to take pics and there was a Harry Potter Exhibition :)

15th!

4A chalet ♥

Really didn't expect much (haha sorry) but it turned out to be really really really fun ;D

First met Shieuhuei and Regina at Pasir Ris who were eating lunch haha then go open chalet. Then Meiwen joined us (she thought she was very late LOL). Hahah then got more and more and more ppl, enough to play Slapjack Mahjong Cards Murderer. Dinner at Just Acia :D though we were split into 2 groups. Mw and me shared a meal and used the cup to collect icecream :D Then the guys went to DhobyGaut and the girls to arcade, neoprint and pool ^^ Kaixin kept trying to pose to get the balls in which was damn funny LOL. Afterwards it was midnight movie joined by Xiaoyu, we were all scared at first but hahah scared for nothing :D too bad didn't watch it during cellobass chalet~

Yup followed by the Truth Game with ZhongJiMiMa which Zhenyu totally enjoyed himself grossing us out but entertaining us at the same time. Hehe its in the 2A genes to be the last to Zhong4 the number in this kind of games :D

Slept with Regina and 'kicked' her out of bed HAHA sorry!!!

16th!!

More arcade in the morning, followed by sending Regina off to CCA and accidentally leaving my wallet in her shoebag! O: Bus-ed to the Interchange to collect it and then took the wrong loop of 358 back to chalet. Wahhh so bad luck haha.

Played more Cluedo mahjong cards including Asshole Daidi that includes exchanging of 3 cards! Then in the evening Mr Tan CY came over hahah we were totally surprised. He played Slapjack with us and had dinner too ^^ very nice of him! Then we played more arcade at night which included 9-people-Taiko, 9-people-throwing the ball at the machine and 9-people-DDR.

Heheh then super fun at night :D ANTI-MAHJONG! SpotTheDifference (guys are better at this cos they are more Jian4) and Charades (girls are better at this cos they know words like SanitaryBin better) hahah then everyone very high.

17th!!

Finally end of chalet and KFC BREAKFAST ;D Played GuessThePerson Game and then train-ed home~

JET @ UniversalStudiosS :D HAHAAH FINALLY.

USS is divided into many areas, my favourite shld be Jurassic Park, where we took all of the rides there :) Including the WET ride Rapids Adventure (A highlight of USS) which looked innocent at first but soaked us suddenly.

Too bad the Battlestar Galactica was closed (it's the other highlight of USS hello!), but the Revenge of the Mummies was a great replacement for the 3 of us ^^ we rode it 2 times and agreed that the 2nd time is scarier. I also recommend Shrek 4D :) Even though the queues are long, but it's quite worth it. I'm glad we came at an off-peak day ;D

Yep overall it's better than Disneyland :D partly cos of the waiting time and also cos it's not in a foreign land.

So that's it. For the next 92736876 days I'm going to rest like a log.

Luckily the few days before exam don't have, if not cannot recover intime.

Quite cool, haha all fried chicken but quite nice and SUPER FILLING.

Supposed to go U.S.S today, but the weather forecast that it's going to rain D:

Today is officially the start of holidays! After waiting and waiting forever. Have to return to school in the first week of January though -.- Probably won't go overseas this holiday, planning to do many things in Singapore ^^ (can we go city tour someday :D)

And I finally finished my farewell letters to JWSMR! Heheh sorry sorry for not finishing them on Thursday night. I really really love the envelopes :) so cool, should have bought one for myself too ^^ I think I like to write letters, it's so personal and can decorate myself :D

Also chosed my subject combination alrdy, even though I haven't submitted it. I never thought I would reach this day! I was thinking maybe I would be deliberating over the choices ever single day until the last day of submission. Well, my advice to juniors out there: when the right time comes, the right subject combination will come to you!

I hope I won't regret it, but studies aren't everything right? I don't think I regret my Year 3 subject combi, because it gave me more subjects to choose from, and also gave me an awesome class 4A! Where I met all my great classmates who like to talk and do stupid things and take unglam (oops) photos with loads of poses. I think our teachers were not bad too, hahah even though we always complain about a handful of them, but they treat us very nice and really put in their best efforts to teach us so yup love you all 3A and 4A teachers :D

Lucky now got FB photos so that I can look at 2010 forever :)

Haha, this is from a forum and I realised this person is exactly like me!! (Except the Geog part)

im kinda in a dilemma right now over which subjects to take in jc. i took triple sciences in sec school, but i have to drop one science subject now. the thing is, i dont know if i should take bio or physics. most likely, ill take chem and math, but should i drop physics or bio?

personally, i prefer physics to bio because its more relevant to daily life but i do better at bio. my bio grades are always higher than my physics grades. if youre talking about interest, ill take physics anytime. i do better at bio so im afraid that my grades will be compromised if i go for a subject that i like yet cannot score. also, i really hate the memorising. bio seems to be more content heavy than physics while the latter is more on application (true?)
anyone can tell me which subject, bio or physics, is more manageable?

another thing is, i have to choose one contrasting subject and since im in the science stream, its either econs, hist, geog or lit. is econs difficult? history's syllabus seems to be more interesting than econs but the essay writing demands of history really puts me off. i dont have any background in geog so i dont know if i should take geog. lit is definitely a no go because ive been disliking it since sec school.

anyone can offer any advice? thanks

Both their acting are not bad and the drama's quite funny :) I decided not to read the plot to give myself spoilers LOL.
